Kathy Kravit-Smith grew up in Cumberland, Maryland photographing the hills and valleys of Western Maryland with her sweet little Kodak Instamatic. After graduating with a BS in Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio she moved to the Pacific Northwest where she earned an Masters in Business Administration.  In 1985 she turned in her Instamatic for a Minolta Maxxum 7000 and never looked back!! From that point on family, friends, events, nature, the backyard, wildlife, birds, landscapes, etc. were all subjected to her curiosity for creating and sharing photography.  After a 40 year career in the field of Parks and Recreation, Kathy is now focused entirely on the art of photography.  She is happy to help you document events, capture special moments, or decorate your walls with images from the Pacific Northwest.
